In these turbulent times, Long Island Community Hospital is taking every measure to care for our community and protect our employees. Our COVID-19 Task Force has enacted an emergency preparedness plan, comprehensive and ever-changing, to meet the transforming needs of our healthcare system and community, in collaboration with state and local officials, Department of Health, and CDC guidelines.
We are grateful for the outpouring of community support over the past few months as this crisis has unfolded. We continue to ensure adequate supplies of personal protective equipment (PPE), technology and equipment remain available to equip our healthcare heroes working on the front lines. Our dedicated staff are rising to the challenge to provide compassionate care under challenging circumstances.
This is not an overnight matter and we anticipate the impact of this pandemic to be with us well into the future. Your donation will help to save lives, protect our employees and help us treat critical COVID-19 patients at our hospital. No amount is too small. Every gift will help ensure that those caring for our loved ones, friends, neighbors and co-workers are equipped to save as many lives as possible.
