The Donaldson Family Named Honoree for the Event
Long Island Community Hospital will be hosting their 2019 Swing Into Spring Dinner/Dance on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 6:00 PM at Land’s End in Sayville. The event promises an elegant evening of cocktails, dinner and entertainment with raffles for fabulous prizes. Tickets are now on sale and sponsorships are still available. All proceeds from the event benefit the programs and services for the hospital.
The Donaldson Family of Donaldsons Subaru and Volkswagen of Sayville is the honoree for this year’s event. Donaldsons Subaru and Volkswagen is committed to supporting their community. In giving back to those who have helped their business succeed, the Donaldson Family has proudly partnered with several community organizations including: Bideawee; Cuddle Dispatch; Contractors for Kids; AYES–Automotive Youth Education System; Subaru University at Suffolk County Community College; Local Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts; Riverhead Raceway; Long Island Ducks; Long Island YMCA; Long Island Special Olympics; and Long Island Autism Speaks. Nationally, they have supported Convoy of Hope, a humanitarian organization. Additionally, the Donaldson family has been a proud participant in the Subaru “Share the Love” event where they have chosen Long Island Community Hospital as their community recipient, raising over $120,000 in three short years.
“We’re thrilled to have the Donaldson Family as our Honoree for the Swing Into Spring event.” said Rachel Schnabl, Vice President and Chief Development Officer at Long Island Community Hospital. “In addition to their success as respected local business leaders, they are also generous supporters of our hospital’s signature events as one of our Foundation Partners and are certainly deserving of our gratitude.”
